Hualien Branch, Administrative Enforcement Agency, Ministry of Justice:Bck to homepage

:::

Lately I received two (or more) highly identical payment notices from different branch jurisdictions of the Administrative Enforcement Agency, the Ministry of Justice. Except for the addresses, not only the serial number of transfer, but the cause of action, the date and time, the transferring agency, and the payable amount indicated on the notices are all the same. Should I make all the payments?

Ans:

The payment notices from different branch jurisdictions of the Administrative Enforcement Agency are official documents issued as an enforced action to notify an obligator to pay the overdue balance. However, in order to enhance the effectiveness of enforcement and address the issue that many do not actually live at their permanent address, the branches could possibly send payment notices to an obligator simultaneously at his/her permanent address, mailing address, address specified on the vehicle license, etc. In addition, if the first payment notice is overdue, the branches may send one or more notifications. Therefore, if you find in the payment notices

that the serial number of transfer, the cause of action, and the payable amount are all the same, please do not hesitate to confirm with a branch institution via telephone for your own rights.
